I asked my Mom and grandfather what there schoolwas like. They both only had one good thing to say about school and that is they got to go home for lunch. My mom said she liked it because she got to go swimming in the spring time. Although I would like to be in my time because there is more technology.

Everything you know about thanksgiving is a lie. Texans claim the first Thanksgiving in America took place in San Elizario. This took place in 1598 23 years before the pilgrims arrived. At the Berkeley Plantation on the James River they claim to have the first Thanksgiving. It was held there on December 4th, 1619. Two years before the Pilgrims’ festival. No one knows for sure what they ate. The only food we know they had for sure was deer.

I think we have school off tomorrow becase it is the day were got together with Native Americans and ate turkey. But that is all a lie so I don’t know why we have the day off.

Through out the competition I have done 16 blog post. I have had 25 comments. I am not sure how many visitors I had or how many countries visited myblog. I have four widgets I used. I wrote about 20 to 30 comments on other peoples blogs. At first my posts were short but now they are much longer. It is good writing to the world because everyone get to see your feelings. On the rubric I gave my self a four on blogging and a four on understanding. On the timeliness I gave myself a 3 because there were a few comments I never wrote back to.  

Wooden canes were used to hit the kids who didn’t behave. The leather strap was invented in the 1850’s. In the 1890’s the paddle was introduced. Now teachers are not allowedto hit their students. Now teachers punish their students by giving them a detention. Or getting them suspended or expelled.

What sport(s) do you play?? I do karate. I am a black belt. I do cross country.

What sports are big in your country at the moment?? Baseball and football.

What do you do for fun?? I watch TV and play video games for fun.

     Congratulations Barack Obama on becoming President.I have to admit I am a John McCain supporter. But I think that you will be a good president.

     I think that the first thing you should deal with is health care. I think that health care is the most important issue because many people are dieing; they can’t afford health care so no one will operate on them. For some that do get the operation done they are in great debt. I know that many say to help the econominy first, but you can’t because too many people are dieing. Or they are just getting in greater debt. There is only one way I think you can solve the econominy problem. Get everyone health care. You can try during the four years your president to change the ecenominy, but it will never work unless you give everyone health care.

In m school we recycle a lot. We recycle paper and plastic. I recycle most of my paper I don’t need anymore. We have a thing called locker clean outs it’s where you clean out your locker. You have to recycle all the paper in your locker. It is very helpful for the environment.

On Veterans Day we fly their flags high. Famous people make speeches. We take time to remember the human sacrifice it has taken to have such a great nation.
